Good Friday in Jerusalem

On Good Friday, Christians in Jerusalem commemorated the Passion of Christ. Led by Latin Patriarch Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, hundreds retraced Jesus' final steps along the Via Dolorosa, singing hymns and carrying wooden crosses in the Order of the Commemoration of the Suffering of Christ. The procession culminated at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, site of Jesus' crucifixion, burial, and resurrection.
