I started playing Mario Kart World for the Nintendo Switch 2. I had never speedrun Mario Kart before, but I wanted to see if I could get a world record time on a course. This is the unlikely story of how someone with almost no Mario Kart experience used an overlooked shortcut to get one of the hardest world records in Mario Kart World.
