Looking for an easy DIY Dog treat recipe? Apples are such a great treat option for most dogs (No core or seeds, of course) not only are they an easy healthy choice for your dog, most of us always have apples readily available. This recipe is also a great option when you have some apples about to make their way to the compost, your dog wont mind! 😉 Directions Preheat oven to 200F Core apples and slice thinly (you can peel if you want but i prefer to keep skin on) Place on lined baking sheet and sprinkle with cinnamon Bake in preheated oven for one hour. After one hour turn apples and bake for another hour. Once ready turn oven off and let apples cool completely in oven.
