[Exploring Korean Literature] From Cuddly Pets to Companions│애완동물에서 반려동물로 (ENG SUB)

Animals have lived together with humans in the past and present. Recently, attitudes towards pets have changed from adorable pets to cherished companions. The way pets are illustrated in literature has also undergone a transformation due to changing perceptions of pets over time. There is the book "Burying the Dog" written by Lee Si-won in the Joseon Dynasty that was dedicated to the subject of pets. "Lives of Cats" is a more recent literary work where cats take center stage.
