FIRST SUNDAY IN ADVENT December 3, 2023
FIRST SUNDAY IN ADVENT December 3, 2023 AS WE GATHER The Advent season beckons the Lord to rend the heavens and come down, permeating humanity with His almighty incarnation, laying waste our sin and unrighteousness. As God’s people, we can do no more than plead for mercy. Through the grace of Christ Jesus, we are declared guiltless. Therefore, we echo with the myriad of saints who eagerly anticipate the coming of Christ, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.” St. Paul Lutheran Church A Member Congregation of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod We greet and welcome all guests and visitors worshiping with us today. We hope that the message you hear today will strengthen your understanding and faith in God’s plan to save us from sin and death through Jesus Christ.
