CNA Practice Test 2024 (60 Questions with Explained Answers), Prometric CNA Test 2024 This video is designed to help CNA pass their Prometric clinical skill. The CNA exam is separated into two sections: Written examination AND clinical skills test. The written portion uses a multiple-choice format to test your knowledge of nursing concepts. You have 60 minutes to complete 60 questions. The clinical skills test requires you to perform nursing tasks in front of an evaluator. Most states will allow you to retake the exam up to three times within two years of completing your CNA training. You only need to retake the section that you didn't pass. If you fail both the written and skills sections, you will be allowed to retake both areas. How do I register? To register for your Prometric CNA Exam, visit Prometric and select your state to download an application. If your state allows you to apply online, there will be a link to the exam application on your state’s page. You’ll typically need a credit card to complete the online application. Indirect Prometric Skill: Indirect Care is a skill that is evaluated while you perform each skill. This skill evaluates behaviors that are common to any resident care such as: infection control, safety, communication, and resident preferences, needs, comfort and rights. You are not given instructions to perform the Indirect Care skill. The evaluator watches for these behaviors while you perform each skill. In the checkpoints provided for each skill below, Indirect Care checkpoints are identified with an “(IC)” at the end. Indirect Care is one of the five skills scored in every Clinical Skills Test.
