A Bedtime Prayer Before Sleep - Lord God, Surround us with Your angels, standing... As night falls and darkness surrounds me, I come to You in prayer. I am grateful for the blessings of this day and the gift of life. As I get ready to rest, I seek Your presence and peace to fill my heart and mind. Lord, I hand over all my worries, anxieties, and burdens to You. I place my cares upon You, for You care for me. I ask that You calm my restless thoughts and give me a deep and peaceful sleep. May Your loving presence be my comfort and security throughout the night. In this quiet moment, I reflect on Your goodness and faithfulness. I recognize that You are the keeper of my soul and the guardian of my life. Father, I trust in Your protection and ask for Your divine shield to surround me as I sleep. Guard me from any harm, both visible and invisible, and keep me in Your perfect peace. I entrust my dreams and aspirations to You, knowing that my future is in Your hands. Grant me wisdom and guidance as I move forward on my journey. May Your light illuminate my path, leading me in the way of righteousness and truth. Thank You, Father, for the gift of this night. I trust in Your loving care and protection. As I close my eyes and surrender to sleep, I rest in the assurance of Your unfailing love. May Your peace guard my heart and mind until the morning light.
