EASY MACRAME KEYCHAIN TUTORIAL | DIY | HOW TO MAKE A MACRAME KEYCHAIN

Hello again friends, thanks so much for popping by! In today’s tutorial we are making these cute friendship bracelet style macrame keychains. Does anyone else remember making friendship bracelets? I was teaching my daughter how to make them and it was so nostalgic! I hope you enjoy this one as much a I do!✨♥️☺️ Please remember you can alway slow down or speed up the video to suit your liking. I highly recommend if it is your FIRST time making a pattern OR you are using a DIFFERENT cord, please make sure to cut extra length. From there you can tailor the lengths to suit your own tension, spacing of knots, and size/type of cord. These variables can make a big difference in length of cord used in macrame. For this project I used a 3mm braided cord (link below) in colours “Pastel Pink” and “Wine Red.” https://www.soulfulnotions.ca/product... Unfortunately I do not have the link for these exact keychains. I’ve had them for many years and reuse the same ones for tutorials, but don’t worry, any keychain should do the trick. If you are set on this style, Google, 1 inch swivel clasp keychain and you should be able to source them in your country. Here is exactly what I used in the video, but please note, the centre 2 cords can be cut 3 inches shorter than the outer cords, but for simplicity and purpose of teaching I cut them all the same length in the video. • 1in/2.5cm swivel clasp keychain • 3mm braided cord cut to 4 x 43in/109cm • scrap piece used for gathering knot is roughly 12 in/30cm Measurements: Width: 1in/2.5cm Length: (from very top of clasp) 7in/18cm You can also find me on Instagram @soulful__notions ( 2 underscores )
