Christmas Eve Service Friday, December 24, 2021

Join us for online worship! On this Christmas Eve, we will have a combined Family Vespers service. The Thomas family will light our Advent Wreath. Brother and sister, Sebastian Almeida-Hall and Amelia Almeida-Hall will read the scripture texts from Luke 2:1-5, 6-7, 8-14, 15-20. Karen Massey will bring a sermon entitled: Emmanuel—God With Us. We will share in Holy Communion. Then we will go into a time of Lessons & Carols, where Becky Pinney, Irwin Ray, Kay Braswell, Ken Brant, Carolyn Mahaffey, and Greg DeLoach will bring us the biblical readings of the Christmas story found in the Gospel of Luke. Shantá Johnson will sing Sweet Little Jesus Boy; and the NDBC Sanctuary Choir, under the leadership of our Director of Music Ministries, Keith Walker, will present O, Come Emmanuel arranged by Alice Parker; Nativity Carol by John Rutter; African Noel by André Thomas.
