1 tbsp oil 1/2 onion 2 garlic cloves 2 carrots 2 celery stalks 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 lb stew meat (i used roast beef) 32 oz beef broth 1 tsp thyme 1/2 barley 1 tbsp ap flour mixed with 2 tbsp water (slurry) approximately 8 cups water 1/2 to 1 tsp salt...to taste
