Vegan Irish Soda Bread | St. Patrick's Day Recipe | #shorts

Just in time for St. Patrick's Day. In this short video I show you how to make an easy and delicious vegan Irish Soda Bread. This is an Irish Soda Bread recipe without buttermilk. It is the perfect bread to accompany your vegan Irish Stew. The addition of oats to this recipe makes for a delicious texture and provides some fiber and nutrition. I also show you how to make a vegan buttermilk using plant based almond milk and apple cider vinegar. Enjoy. Ingredients: 2 cups all purpose flour 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats 1 tsp baking soda 1/3 tsp salt 1 cup plant milk (almond, soy or oat milk) 1.5 tbsp apple cider vinegar Preheat oven to 425 °F. Whisk vinegar and milk together and set aside. Combine all the dry ingredients and mix. Add the "buttermilk" and mix until it forms a dough. Plac eon floured surface and knead for a short 1 minute until the dough becomes evenly dispersed. If too dry add a tbsp more milk. If too wet, knead in more flour. DO NOT knead too much or it will end up as a tough bread. Flatten into a round about 1 inch thick. Place on a baking sheet or, as I did, onto a preheated cast iron pan. Cut a cross in the top. Back for 25-30 minutes until baked through and slightly browned on top. Cool on a wire rack and enjoy. 🔴 Subscribe for more free YouTube videos: 🔴 Subscribe for more free YouTube videos: https://www.youtube.com/c/thepotthick...
