Michael Jackson - Billie Jean live in Auckland 1996 (Remastered)

Michael Jackson performing Billie Jean in Auckland, New Zealand on November 11th 1996, the second of two shows (Nov. 9th and Nov. 11th) and the 20th show of the HIStory Tour. One of my favourite 1996 performances, my third favourite in pro footage, above Kuala Lumpur October 29th, and below Manila and Kuala Lumpur Ocotber 27th. MJ's dancing is interesting, it keeps that groovy style of the first night, but MJ dances a whole lot more here than on the first night, the execution is much looser than the first night but due to the groovy style it has it actually looks really cool. The main moonwalk is really smooth for this period of the tour, usually the moonwalks aren't that good during these mid-1996 performances. The instrumentation is fire, the snare is incredible, it's loud and powerful, the kick is horrendous, idk how to explain it, the rest is perfect, just wish that it was stereo and in higher quality. MJ sounds better here than on the first night, and the adlibs are a significant upgrade. Overall a great improvement over the first night's performance For the footage I increased saturation, increased exposure and decreased temperature. For the audio I added compression with some EQ and transient processors. -------------------------------------- Copyright Disclaimer under Section 107 of the copyright act 1976, allowance is made for fair use for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, scholarship, and research.
