With 10,000 steps a day, 3000 calories is actually more of a maintenance for me, however, as I'm currently in my off season with no plan to compete any time soon, my diet has been pretty flexible when it comes to eating out. So the calorie surplus usually comes from banking calories or any events where I can't accurately track my calories!
