Black Eyed Peas in the Instant Pot; they're a winning combination. It's comfort food; good for the body and soul. I used the sauté function to sear my ham pieces in the pot. Searing the meat releases the fat from the meat and that fat is flavor for your dry peas. Put your black eyed peas over rice and the seasoned (old) folks call this Hopping John. I love Instant Pot cooking. I can cook those good homestyle recipes from my childhood in half the time.
