A Heart of Repentance By Pastor John Oyakhilome Scripture: Acts 3:19 (KJV) "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord." Message: Repentance is the gateway to spiritual renewal and refreshing. To repent means to turn away from sin and turn toward God. It is a complete change of heart and mind that aligns us with His will. God desires a contrite and broken spirit (Psalm 51:17), for it demonstrates humility and dependence on Him. Repentance not only brings forgiveness but also restores our fellowship with God. Isaiah 1:18 reminds us of His promise: “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.” As you repent, trust in God’s ability to blot out every transgression and bring you into a season of refreshing. Startup Prayer for the Day: Father, I repent of every sin and ask for your mercy. Cleanse me, restore me, and lead me into the times of refreshing that come from your presence. Amen.
