Today I’m making an easy Banana Cookies Recipe. These banana cookies are soft and have a rich banana flavor. They're a great way to use up ripe bananas sitting on your counter. INGREDIENTS FOR THE COOKIE DOUGH: 320 g - all-purpose flour 1 tsp - baking powder ½ tsp - salt 1 tsp - cinnamon (optional) ½ tsp - ground nutmeg (optional) 115 g - softened unsalted butter 2 - eggs 50 g - sugar 310 g - bananas (about 3 large bananas) INGREDIENTS FOR THE SUGAR GLAZE: 60 g - powdered sugar 2 tsp - lemon juice 1 tsp - water (if needed) Tips to make these Banana Cookies Recipe: Before making the cookie dough, make sure that all the ingredients are at room temperature. Store the leftover cookies in an airtight container over the counter for up to 3 days. You can freeze the cookies without the frosting, by stacking them in an airtight container or freezer bag. You will want to place a sheet of waxed paper between the layers of cookies, so they don’t stick together.
