He tells them that His own testimony about Himself is not enough, but that there is another who testifies in His favor - God the Father. Jesus says that the works He is doing are evidence of His Divine Mission and that the Father has testified to His legitimacy. He also points out that their own scriptures testify to His identity, but they refuse to accept Him. Jesus then accuses the Jewish leaders of not having the love of God in their hearts and of seeking glory from one another rather than seeking the glory that comes from God. He reminds them that their own lawgiver, Moses, wrote about Him and that if they believed in Moses, they would believe in Jesus. However, since they do not believe what Moses wrote, they will not believe what Jesus says. My dear brothers and sisters, this passage reminds us that our faith in Jesus is not based solely on our own subjective experiences or opinions, but on the objective evidence of his life, teachings, and works, as well as the witness of the Father and the testimony of the scriptures. It also challenges us to examine our own hearts and motivations, to seek the glory that comes from God rather than seeking validation from others, and to approach the scriptures with an open mind and heart, seeking to know and follow the truth. Prayer Heavenly Father, We come before you today to pray for our YouTube audience. We ask that you bless each and every one of them, that they may feel your love and grace in their lives. We pray that as they watch our videos, they may be inspired, uplifted, and encouraged in their faith. We ask that you give them the wisdom and discernment to discern the truth from falsehood and to follow your will in their lives.
