Hello there! If you were to die today, do you know where you would spend eternity? If not, then this is the place for you! The Bible says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) We have all sinned. I have sinned, and so have you. Any bad thought, little white lie, it is sin. The Bible states: But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. (Isaiah 64:6) Your righteousness cannot get you to Heaven. Sacraments cannot get you to Heaven, nor can prayer, church, or any good work. The Bible also tells us, "For the wages of sin is death," (Romans 6:23) Because of our sin, we are all on our way to the grave, but that isn't the only death for those who have rejected Christ. In the book of Revelation chapter 20, verses 11-15 we see: 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. If you are not saved and have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are headed to this place. Everyone who has died without Jesus Christ is in Hell right now, but one day they will be standing before the Lord Jesus Christ, God Almighty, and give account of EVERYTHING that they have done. Is this you? Thankfully, there is a way out! 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Knowing that we can't get to Heaven on our own good works, and that it is the gift of God, not reward, but a gift that is given that we DO NOT deserve, what is this wondrous gift? For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) This is that gift! 3b how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: (1 Corinthians 15:3b-4) The only way to Heaven is through the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed for us, his burial and resurrection. So then, "what must I do to be saved?" It's simple! Really simple! All you have to do is: Admit that you are a sinner, headed to Hell, and that you can do nothing to get to Heaven. Believe on the death, burial, and resurrection as the only way you can get to Heaven and be forgiven of your sins. Confess the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, asking Him to forgive you of your sins. Trust Him, not the prayer, it isn't the prayer that saves you, it is believing on the Lord Jesus Christ and confessing Him! That's all there is to be saved!
