Dear Heavenly Father, As the day comes to a close and I prepare to rest, I come before You in gratitude for the day that has passed. Thank You for Your presence and guidance throughout the day, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. I entrust myself into Your loving care as I lay down to sleep. Lord, I surrender all my worries, anxieties, and burdens to You. I release them into Your capable hands, knowing that You are in control of all things. Grant me a peaceful and restful sleep, free from restless thoughts and disturbances. Calm my mind and fill my heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. I ask for Your protection and safety throughout the night. Guard me against any harm or evil, both seen and unseen. Surround me with Your heavenly angels, that I may rest under Your divine shelter. May Your presence be a shield around me, providing comfort and assurance in the darkness. Father, I pray that You renew my strength for the new day that lies ahead. May I wake up refreshed, restored, and ready to serve You with all that I am. Thank You for being my refuge and strength, my ever present help in times of need. Thank You for the opportunity to rest in Your loving arms tonight. "And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” (1 John 4:16)
