Winter sowing can be a wonderful way to still play in the dirt in the middle of winter when you need those endorphins the very most. This method also can be a wonderful way to start plants inexpensively by seeds. You only need containers, seeds, potting soil and the outdoor elements. In this video I will show you how to do the traditional way of winter sowing but also a way I have been experimenting with that works. I love to layer my pots because it saves on money and I get to use the organic materials from my yard that I already have. Follow along through the year of winter sowing from seed to plant to bloom.
