As a direct sequel to Black Ops Cold War (2020), the game takes players to the year 1991, where the CIA’s finest agents face a shadowy organization known as Pantheon, whose members have infiltrated the agency's upper echelons. Campaign: Set during the backdrop of the Gulf War, the story follows CIA operatives Troy Marshall and Frank Woods, alongside rookie agent William "Case" Calderon and their handler Jane Harrow. Together, they unravel a conspiracy involving the Pantheon, a group with roots in a CIA super-soldier experiment gone awry. Players will traverse global locales from Kuwait and Iraq to a Bulgarian seaside hideout, uncovering secrets about a powerful psychotropic weapon, The Cradle, and its creator, Soviet scientist Matvey Gusev.
