FEAST OF THE HOLY FAMILY 2024 || Holy Family of Jesus , Mary and Joseph (Holy Family of Nazareth) Feast 2024 As the church celebrates the feast of the Holy family, we come together to pray for our families and families all over the world. We cry out to the Holy family of Nazareth, we look at the decay and disunity in families and pray for healing, we pray for homes where the enemy has planted tares, we pray for broken hearts and those betrayed by their loved ones,we pray for erring children and draw them back into God’s love. I encourage you to drop the needs of your family at the feet of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, let their journey encourage you, and let your prayers be answered. Amen. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen Mention your intentions for your family Loving and Eternal God, In the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, You revealed the beauty of love, faith, and obedience. We come before You today, burdened by the challenges families face in our broken world. Brokenness in relationships, the weight of unforgiveness, and the cries of children lost in the chaos of shattered homes. Jesus, born in poverty and humility, You teach us that love is not bound by wealth or status but by sacrifice and grace. You embraced the struggles of a human family, reminding us that love and holiness grows even in hardship. Help us to trust in God’s plan as You did, especially when life feels overwhelming. Mary, tender mother, full of grace, You bore the pain of exile, the anxiety of searching for Your Son, and the agony of standing by the Cross. Intercede for all mothers, fathers, and caregivers who carry heavy burdens for their loved ones. Teach us to surrender our fears to God and find strength in His unwavering love. Joseph, faithful protector and humble servant, You worked tirelessly to provide and safeguard your family. Pray for all fathers, that they may lead with courage, patience, and love, in a world that often undermines their role. Help them to reflect Your quiet strength and selfless devotion. Holy Family of Nazareth, Our families are under attack: from division, indifference, and selfishness. Heal the wounds that tear us apart. Restore the bonds of love and understanding. Inspire us to build homes that reflect Your light, where forgiveness is given freely, prayers are lifted daily, and each member feels seen, loved, and valued. We ask for Your grace to transform our hearts and lives, so that we, like You, may become a sign of hope in a weary world. Guide us, Holy Family, on the path to holiness and eternal joy in God’s kingdom. Amen. Dedication of One’s Family:Most loving Jesus, by Your sublime and beautiful virtues of humility, obedience, poverty, modesty, charity, patience, and gentleness, You blessed with peace and happiness the family which You chose on earth. In Your mercy look upon my family. We belong to You, for we have received Your many blessings over many years and we entrust ourselves to Your loving care. Look upon my family in Your loving kindness, preserve us from danger, give us help in time of need, and grant us the grace to persevere to the end in imitation of Your holy Family, so that having revered You and loved You faithfully on earth, we may praise You eternally in heaven. Mary, dearest Mother, to your intercession we have recourse, knowing that your Divine Son will hear your prayers. Glorious patriarch, Saint Joseph, help us by your powerful prayers and offer our prayers to Jesus through Mary’s hands.
