Omni‐Man finds out about Mark’s powers at home, when Omni‐Man shows his letdown and Mark admits he did not know how to share them. Outside, Mark asks about his father’s love and begs him not to take over the planet, using hints from the future. When Omni‐Man strikes, Mark takes him to the Guardians’ base and tells them of his plan to rule the world. The fight begins as Omni‐Man stabs Immortal while Mark’s pleas for calm go unheard. As the clash grows and more Guardians join in, Green Ghost confuses Omni‐Man before he can harm War Woman, letting her make him pass out while Red Rush ties him up. Mark talks with Cecil and visits his father in jail; Omni‐Man says sorry and thanks him for stopping the harm, admitting he was wrong. Tired and sad, Mark returns home and cries for wife Eve and Tara. Then the being who sent him back appears and gives Mark a choice: stay to fix things or go back to his old time with his family. Mark picks his own time; the being calls him fool and takes him away. When he returns he runs to Eve and sobs as he sees his daughter grown filling him with deep, heavy pain. INVINCIBLE is an adult animated superhero series that revolves around 17-year-old Mark Grayson, who’s just like every other guy his age — except his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man. But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems. After an earth-shattering betrayal, Mark fights to rebuild his life. In the face of apocalyptic threats, he discovers new allies and wrestles with his greatest fear - that he might become his father. In this special prequel episode, Samantha Eve Wilkins, aka Atom Eve, grows up out of place in her own family. When someone from her past re-enters her life, she discovers her tragic backstory and the origin and true potential of her powers.
