Sunday 11:00 AM Eucharist
We welcome you in Jesus name to worship with us at our 11:00 AM Sunday Eucharist as we celebrate the 23rd Sunday after Pentecost. Deacon Robert Alan Shivers preaches “Holy Pastors: A New Day, A New Heart” (Malachi 4:1-6). The color of the day is green, which signifies growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, His Father, and the Holy Spirit. From the console of our 47 rank Austin pipe organ with trompette-en-chamade, Bill Glisson leads the singing of joyous hymns at traditional services: “My Hope Is Built on Nothing Less” (Entrance); “If You But Trust in God to Guide You” (Hymn of the Day); “Christ Is Surely Coming” (Recessional). Our Sunday distribution hymns are: “Soul, Adorn Yourself with Gladness”; “My God, How Wonderful Thou Art”, and “O God, Our Help in Ages Past.” Special music for the weekend: Mr. Bill Glisson’s (organ) prelude is “If You but Trust in God to Guide You” (Ashdown). The Adult Choir sings, “Trust in the Lord” (MacDonald) at offering. Mr. Bill’s postlude is “My Hope Is Built on Nothing Less.” November 16, 2025 St Matthew's Lutheran Church Wilmington, NC 28403 All copyrighted music and texts in this video are used with permission.
