202501 Happy Lunar New YearπŸ₯ŸπŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§

We celebrated Lunar New Year, as known as Spring Festival, though it's not a holiday in NZ. As the most important festival in China, Lunar New Year has evolved as a kind of religion in our culture. We bought some snacks from asian store, made dumplings with some coins inside which represents good luck for the coming year, and wearing new clothes to give relatives blessings. Although we hardly buy some food we usually eat during Spring Festival, nor watching the Chinese New Year Gala duo to the time difference between NZ and China, we still celebrated the event try our best. Thanks to Lei Chen, the photographer's cousin, send us some red rolls which could be stick on the front door of our house presenting happiness and well-being, Bai's new clothes of horse-face skirt, Chinese traditional spicy snacks, and tea, we could celebrate Spring Festival the same with when we were in China as much as possible. In spite of feeling strange as we first time celebrated Spring Festival in summer, we sincerely wish everyone all the best and a happy Lunar New Year! ###################################### 0:00 Lunar New Year Eve 0:52 Making Dumplings 1:22 Eve Dinner 5:08 Lucky Sticks 9:08 Lunar New Year CC subtitles are available for Chinese and English, the latter of which was translated by ChatGPT.
