One day, a mysterious Yogi came to his court and asked the King to perform a special task. The Yogi said, "King, if you are really brave and just, you must go to this forest and catch a Betaal. Vikramaditya kept catching the Vetal and bringing it back, and each time he heard a new story. Finally, when the king kept quiet and was about to reach the Yogi, the Vetal revealed a secret—the Yogi wanted to deceive the king and sacrifice him so that he could become immortal. Vikramaditya defeated the Yogi with his intelligence and returned to the kingdom. Thus, King Vikramaditya not only saved his life with his bravery and sense of justice but also foiled a major conspiracy. This is why his name is immortal in history even today. . . . . . . . ||.
