Foster Kids

My quest is to help repair broken childhoods but the kind of loss and trauma that land a child in foster care seldom hit a kid without leaving some emotional scars. Although the goal of foster care is to provide temporary shelter for children until their family can be safely re-unified, the reality for a lot of kids is somewhat different. One in five who enter foster care won't go home again. Some will return home to situations that are essentially unchanged.
