And whoever sows with blessings shall also reap from blessings: each one giving, just as he has determined in his heart, neither out of sadness, nor out of obligation. For God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make every grace abound in you, so that, always having what you need in all things, you may abound unto every good work, just as it was written: "He has distributed widely, he has given to the poor; his justice remains from age to age." And he who ministers seed to the sower will offer you bread to eat, and will multiply your seed, and will increase the growth of the fruits of your justice. Responsorial Psalm: Ps 112:1-2, 5-6, 7-8, 9 R. Blessed the man who is gracious and lends to those in need. Blessed is the man that fears the Lord: he shall delight exceedingly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the righteous shall be blessed. R. Blessed the man who is gracious and lends to those in need. Acceptable is the man that shows mercy and lends: he shall order his words with judgment: Because he shall not be moved forever. R. Blessed the man who is gracious and lends to those in need. The just shall be in everlasting remembrance: he shall not hear the evil hearing. His heart is ready to hope in the Lord: His heart is strengthened, he shall not be moved until he looks over his enemies. R. Blessed the man who is gracious and lends to those in need. He has distributed, he has given to the poor: his justice remains forever and ever: his horn shall be exalted in glory. R. Blessed the man who is gracious and lends to those in need. Alleluia: John 8:12bc R. Alleluia, alleluia. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life, says the Lord. R. Alleluia, alleluia. Gospel: John 12:24-26 "Amen, amen, I say to you, unless the grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it yields much fruit. Whoever loves his life, will lose it. And whoever hates his life in this world, preserves it unto eternal life. If anyone serves me, let him follow me. And where I am, there too my minister shall be. If anyone has served me, my Father will honor him." === Reflection: https://mycatholic.life/books/catholi... Copyright © 2020 My Catholic Life! Inc. All rights reserved.
