Homily from the Sixteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time Visiting Priest, Fr. Renante Malimata: The Diocese of Gumaca is located in the island of Luzon in the Philippines. It covers the southern section of the province of Quezon. The funds collected from the mission appeal will be used for the cost of formation sessions and the needed materials to organize and maintain the 671 Basic Ecclesial Communities in the diocese. It will also be used to maintain Catholic chapels in the areas. In addition, the money will help supplement in providing assistance to the poor by giving them livelihood programs as well as helping those affected by calamities. We thank you for your generosity!
