'The Book of Eli' film review
Albert and Allen Hughes new movie, The Book of Eli, should not be known for its tedious post-apocalyptic story line, but for its action-packed scenes. Denzel Washington plays Eli, a titular hero who has been on a 30-year quest after a cataclysmic war took over America. The Earth, which is now a wasteland, bares gangs and brigands. Eli fights his way westward with his sidekick Solara (Mila Kunis) to protect the one book warlord Carnegie (Gary Oldman) wants: the Bible. The Chronicles film critic, David Orlikoff, reviews the film.
