Ingredients: - • 800g chicken (چکن) • 500g rice (soaked for 1 hour) (چاول) • 2 small-sized onions (پیاز) • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste (ادرک لہسن پیسٹ) • 2 medium-sized tomatoes (ٹماٹر) • 1 small bowl yoghurt (دہی) • 8 green chilies (ہری مرچیں) • Fresh coriander (دھنیا) • 2 tbsp salt (نمک) • 1 tsp red pepper powder (لال مرچ پاوڈر) • 1 tbsp dried coriander powder (خشک دھنیا پاوڈر) • 1 mace spice (جاوتری) • 1 small stick cinnamon (دارچینی) • 1 black cardamom (بڑی الائچی) • 3 cardamoms (سبز الائچی) • 4 cloves (لونگ) • ½ tsp whole black pepper (ثابت کالی مرچ) • 1 tsp cumin seeds (زیرہ) • 1 tsp garam masala powder (گرم مسالہ پاوڈر) • ½ cup oil (آئل) Recipe: - 1. Heat oil in a pan and add the whole spices. Fry them. 2. Then add onion and fry until light golden. 3. Add ginger garlic paste and mix well. 4. Then add the chicken. Fry until its color changes. 5. Then add salt, red pepper powder and dried coriander powder. Mix them well. 6. Cook for a minute. Add tomatoes and green chilies and mix them. 7. Add yoghurt, mix it and cover the pan with a lid. 8. On medium flame, let it cook for 8-10 minutes. 9. Then add 3 ½ glasses of water and let the water boil while the pan is covered. 10. Add the rice again cover the pan and let the water boil. 11. After 1-2 boils remove the lid and cook the rice. 12. Then add garam masala powder, green chilies and coriander. 13. Cover the pan with a cloth and place the lid over it. 14. On medium flame, let it cook for 10 minutes. 15. Delicious Chicken Yakhni Pulao is ready to be served. Enjoy!
