It is the twenty-first installment of the Call of Duty series and is the seventh main entry in the Black Ops sub-series, following Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (2020). Set during Operation Desert Storm, Black Ops 6's single-player story follows rogue CIA operatives Troy Marshall and Frank Woods as they assemble a team of agents to hunt down Pantheon, a paramilitary group with covert ties to the agency. As with previous Call of Duty titles, the game also includes a multiplayer component and the cooperative round-based Zombies mode. In January 1991, during Operation Desert Storm, CIA operatives Troy Marshall, William “Case” Calderon, and their handler Jane Harrow are sent to the Iraq–Kuwait border to extract Iraqi defense minister Saeed Alawi. The mission goes awry when Alawi warns of a rogue paramilitary group called Pantheon. After a deadly encounter, Alawi is executed by rogue CIA agent Russell Adler, who delivers a cryptic message—“Bishop takes Rook”—before being captured. The team is reprimanded and suspended by Deputy Director Daniel Livingstone. Woods and Marshall decode Adler’s message, leading them to a KGB safe house in Bulgaria. There, they form a new team—including hacker Felix Neumann and assassin Sev Dumas—and break Adler out of a CIA black site during a Pantheon assault. Blamed for the attack, they become fugitives. Adler reveals Pantheon’s weapons deals with Saddam Hussein, and together with MI6 and SAS, they uncover the Cradle, a powerful psychochemical weapon. At an abandoned biolab, Case hallucinates and learns Pantheon was a secret CIA project testing the Cradle on him. They discover Harrow is a Pantheon mole and trace the organization’s funding to the principality of Avalon. Reuniting with Adler, they capture Pantheon scientist Matvey Gusev, who reveals the Cradle has been moved to Vorkuta. After a failed raid, the team captures Harrow, who confesses Pantheon plans a false-flag attack on the U.S. Capitol to seize control of the CIA. Pantheon forces attack again, rescuing Harrow, but Case kills her in a Cradle-induced rage before drowning. The team later agrees to work independently under Livingstone to destroy Pantheon, unaware that a Pantheon agent has already infiltrated his office. Thanks for Watching SUBSCRIBE!
