No Bake Chocolate Cake
Chocolate....my favorite! Whether it's a chocolate bar, drink, or cake, this is truly a sweet pleasure for me. Especially after lunch or dinner, I normally look for something sweet. I have been craving for a chocolate cake so I made this recipe - and to make it different, I used a steamer. I didn't think it would be possible but it came out successfully! It really made me happy. I would like to share it with all of you and believe me, it's worth all the time and effort in making this. Share it with your loved ones too! Ingredients and Procedure: For the cake - 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1/3 cup cocoa powder, 1 cup white sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp baking soda, 2 eggs, 1/4 cup vegetable oil, 1/2 cup full cream milk-I used Avonmore, 1 tsp vanilla essence, coffee mixture (1 tsp instant coffee in 1/3 cup hot water), and 1 Tbsp vinegar. 1. Sift in a bowl - flour and cocoa powder. Add the baking powder and baking soda. Mix well. 2. Then add the sugar and salt. Blend all together. 3. Put the eggs, vegetable oil, milk, and vanilla essence. Beat with a mixer. 4. Add the coffee mixture and vinegar. Beat again. 5. Pour in a baking pan with parchment paper. Cover with foil and steam for an hour under medium heat. 6. After an hour, remove from steamer and let it cool by taking off foil. For the choco frosting - 1 cup full cream milk (Avonmore), 1/2 cup white sugar, 2 Tbsps all-purpose cream, 1/3 cup cocoa powder, 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, and 2 Tbsps butter. 1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl except for the butter. Whisk all together. 2. Transfer to a pot using a strainer and stir with a whisk under medium heat. 3. Add butter and continue whisking until desired consistency is achieved. Turn off heat and let it cool. Transfer the cake in a platter. Pour the choco frosting on top and spread evenly. Sprinkle choco chips. Slice and serve. Enjoy! Thank you for watching! Please LIKE and SUBSCRIBE!
