“See, I have called by name Bezalel… and I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in discernment, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship…” – Exodus 31:1–5 (LSB) This is the first time in Scripture someone is described as filled with the Spirit of God. And it wasn’t for preaching. It wasn’t for leading armies. It was for craftsmanship. God chose Bezalel to create beauty—holy beauty—for His dwelling place. Every detail mattered. Every thread, every carving, every hidden ornament was Spirit-filled and purpose-driven. Because our God is a God of detail. And He fills those details with glory. Your work—done in faith, offered in obedience—is more than task.
