Catholic Mass - Twenty-Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time 21 September 2025 - LIVESTREAM

TODAY’S READINGS First Reading — Am 8:4-7 Psalm — Ps 112: 1-2,4-8 Second Reading — 1 Tim 2:1-8 Gospel Reading — Lk 16:1-13 Being Faithful in Small Things Today, Jesus shares the parable of the dishonest steward, inviting us to reflect on how we manage what has been entrusted to us. The steward, though dishonest, is praised for his cleverness—not for his wrongdoing. Jesus uses this story to teach the importance of being wise and faithful with both spiritual and material resources. If we can be trusted with little, we show we are ready to be trusted with more in God’s kingdom. Jesus also warns that we cannot serve both God and money—our hearts cannot be divided.True discipleship means using our time, talents, and possessions for eternal purposes—through generosity, honesty, and love. This passage encourages us to look within: Are we being good stewards of what God has given us? Let us be faithful even in small things, trusting that God sees and honors every act done with love and integrity. #Exaltation of the Holy Cross #CatholicMass #14september2025 #LIVESTREAM #HolyCross #Frhenrysiew #Frandrewlin #FrJohnKing #Fr AnthonyHo #CardinalWilliamGoh
