SOYA CHUNKS CURRY | DHABA STYLE SOYA CHUNKS CURRY RECIPE | DELICIOUS SOYABEAN RECIPE INGREDIENTS FOR MAKING SOYA CHUNKS CURRY RECIPE : Mini Soya Chunks 100 g For Making Paste :- tomato 2 medium green chilli 4 pcs Need hot water for soaking soya chunks and also need to add salt 1/4 tsp and squeezed lemon 1/2 portion. Oil 3 tbsp (for frying soya chunks) Peeled potatoes 1 large (cut into small pieces) Fry potatoes in the same oil with salt 1/4 tsp and turmeric powder 1/4 tsp. Tempering :- add extra oil 2 tbsp bayleaf 2 pcs dried red chilli 2 pcs sliced onion 1 large ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp salt to taste (1 tsp) coriander powder 1 tbsp cumin powder 1 tbsp red chilli powder 1 tbsp garam masala powder 1 tsp Splash of water Kewra water 1 tsp Water for gravy 200 ml. sliced tomato 1 medium slitted green chilli 3 pcs chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp chopped coriander (for garnishing) MAKING PROCESS : 1) make a smooth paste of tomato and green chilli. 2) add hot water into soya chunks and add salt and squeezed lemon. 3) mix and soak it for 30 mins. 4) squeeze soya chunks to extract water properly. 5) heat oil and add soya chunks into it. 6) stir and fry for 2 min on medium heat. 7) after that remove it to a bowl. 8) 2 mins fry peeled potato pieces in the same oil with salt and turmeric powder on medium heat. 9) then remove to a bowl. 10) add extra 2 tbsp oil, bayleaf and dried red chilli and temper it for 15 sec on lia heat. 11) add sliced onion and fry it for 2-3 mins on medium heat. 12) add ginger-garlic paste and mix it. 13) add grinded paste, salt to taste, coriander, cumin, red chilli, garam masala and splash of water. 14) stir and fry for 3-4 mins on medium heat. 15) cook till oil separates. 16) add fried soya chunks, fried potatoes and kewra water. 17) mix it and add 200 ml of water for gravy.mix it. 18) add sliced tomato and mix it. 19) cover and cook for 4-5 mins on low heat. 20) add slitted green chillies and chopped coriander. 21) stir and cook for final 2 mins to make it ready to serve. 22) garnish with chopped coriander. 23) it can be served with roti, puri Or paratha.
