Sunday 11:00 AM Eucharist

We welcome you in Jesus name to worship with us at our 11:00 AM Sunday Eucharist as we celebrate the Second Sunday in Advent. Pastor Samuel David Zumwalt preaches “Holy Worship: Be Repenting!” (Matthew 3:1-12). The color of the day is blue, which signifies the hope that is ours in Christ, Savior of the world. From the console of our 47 rank Austin pipe organ with trompette-en-chamade, Bill Glisson leads the singing of joyous hymns at traditional services: “Prepare the Royal Highway” (Entrance); “On Jordan’s Banks the Baptist’s Cry” (Hymn of the Day); “Blessed Be the God of Israel” (Recessional). Our Sunday distribution hymns are: “When All the World Was Cursed”; “Sing Praise to the God of Israel”, and “What Hope! An Eden Prophesied.” Special music for the weekend: Mr. Bill Glisson’s (organ) prelude is “PUER NOBIS” (Miller). Bill Glisson (organ) and Bettsy Curtis (Piano) play, “Jesus, Joy of Man’s Desiring” (J.S. Bach) at the 11 a.m. Sunday offering. Mr. Bill’s postlude is “Prepare the Royal Highway” (Manz).
