Silent Night
Silent Night, originally composed by Franz Xaver Gruber with lyrics by Joseph Mohr in 1818, is one of the most cherished Christmas carols, celebrating the peace and wonder of Christ’s birth. This arrangement by John Rutter adds rich harmonies and a gentle elegance to the timeless classic. The Choir of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church in Singapore performed this piece during the 2024 Carol Service, themed "Come, Celebrate the Joy," evoking a sense of serenity and reverence in the celebration.
