Dear Parishioners, Some important news and updates as follows: Mass arrangements Weekday Mass, Tuesday to Friday at 9:30 am Booking is open only via phone call, 9546 8276, From 9 am to 12 pm only. So that it gives us time to contact other parishioners to fill empty spots. Sunday Mass 8:30 and 10:30 Sunday 8:30 Mass will be inside with 20 people and will be live-streamed and 10:30 will be outdoor with 50 people (this will not be live-streamed). Booking is open only via phone call, 9546 8276. From 9 am to 12 pm only for up to the end of November. We will update you on what happens when the number is increased. Only one chance until everyone had their turn. You can book early if you have any significant anniversaries coming up. Please specify which Mass you want to attend, give us your mobile Phone number so that we can contact you in case the outside Mass is canceled because of the weather. ENTREE TO THE FACILITY The Mass centre opens only before half an hour, as prescribed by the DHSS. Since our premises are under renovation, you will see it is fenced off. Please do not enter any area where it's fenced off. To enter the Hall for Mass, please go through the big hall and through the small hall, and enter via the door in front of the school office. BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL, OTHERS WON’T BE ABLE TO ATTEND WHATSOEVER. Newsletter and Reflection This weeks’ newsletter speaks about the Compassionate friends chat service. The whole season prepares us to allow Christ into our hearts and minds, sometimes in ways far different from the way our secular society celebrates the “excitement of December.” Advent prayer will begin on Thursday 26th of November 10.30am, Via Zoom https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83558476342 (this will help us to prepare for the coming Sunday’s readings.) At home, Retreat has ended. Please find them on our website. This will remain for two more weeks. Business hours The office is partly open from 9am-12pm, until further notice. Please do not come to the office for anything until further notice. Upcoming events Together as One (Carnival) Our Carnival this year is taking a different form. We want St Anthony’s Community to be ‘Together as One’ again. Here’s what you can do to be a part of the Variety Show: Take a photo or a short video of yourself or family and answer the question: What are you looking forward to in 2021? Join together with a group to sing a hymn, song, or Christmas carol Show the community what you have been doing during the lockdown Record a short message of hope for the community Please send your submission to [email protected] or whatsapp it to Anthony by Friday 4th December. If you need some help to record your submission please contact Anthony on 0423 048 880 Remembrance Service, With the pandemic we will not be able to join for a Remembrance Mass, but there memorial liturgy on 26th November.
