Today's Gospel - Sunday, October 5, 2025 - Luke 17:5-10 - Catholic Bible
Welcome to our daily encounter with the Word of God! Today we meditate on the readings from the prophet Habakkuk (Habakkuk 1:2-3; 2:2-4), from the Second Letter of Saint Paul to Timothy (2 Timothy 1:6-8, 13-14), and from the Gospel according to Saint Luke (Luke 17:5-10). These readings invite us to trust in God in the midst of difficulty, to keep our faith alive, and to live humbly in service. First Reading (Habakkuk 1:2-3; 2:2-4): The prophet Habakkuk cries out to God in the face of injustice and violence. God responds by affirming that justice will come in its time, and that the just will live by faith. This word encourages us to persevere, trusting in the Lord's promise. Second Reading (2 Timothy 1:6-8, 13-14): Saint Paul exhorts Timothy to rekindle the gift of God he has received and to be courageous in witnessing to the Gospel. The Holy Spirit grants us strength, love, and wisdom to keep the faith and faithfully pass it on. Gospel (Luke 17:5-10): The apostles ask Jesus to increase their faith, and He responds by showing that even a small faith, like a mustard seed, can work wonders. He then teaches that we are servants called to fulfill our duty with humility. Reflection and Call to Conversion Today, the Word invites us to trust in God even in uncertainty, to constantly rekindle the gift of faith, and to serve with humility and perseverance. May these readings strengthen your spiritual life. Share in the comments how God has increased your faith and how you live service with humility. 📖 Today's Readings: First Reading: Habakkuk 1:2-3; 2:2-4 Second Reading: 2 Timothy 1:6-8, 13-14 Gospel: Luke 17:5-10 🌟 Related Hashtags: #BibleReading #DailyReflection #WordOfGod #TransformingFaith #GospelOfTheDay #ChristianService #PerseveranceInFaith #catholicbiblical 💡 Become a member of the channel and receive benefits: / @bibliacatolica 📲 Follow us also: TikTok: / bibliacatolicaonline Instagram: / bibliacatolica Telegram: https://t.me/bibliacatolicaonline Twitter: / bibliacatolica Facebook: https://fb.me/bibliacatolicaonline/ Pinterest: / bibliacatolica
