Villains

Villains

Hey Ho! I had no idea how to call this video.. so.. I just go with that. I have 3 reasons why I did this: 1. I wanted to capture all the villains of EG 2. I wanted to practise with smooth editing again 3. I always wanted to use this song ................................. Before you say "But where is Vignette Valencia, Juniper Montage or Kiwi Lollipop and Supernova Zap (Post Crush)?" I don't really consider them as true villains... I was even thinking about to let Wallflower out but put her here anyways. The three mentioned before aren't really a great thread.. you know? So, let's just consider these three as "people who just had a bad day and used magic". Sounds fair. Also... because I can... let's take a look at these villains in the video because only two of them were really some great threats. One of them was more like "damn..she's rude" and the others were "let's not speak about it". Sunset Shimmer - Sunset as a villain was horrible. She was boring and her plan was kinda stupid. We all know that. Invading Equestria with an army of mindless teenagers... That just can't work. But: Sunset Shimmer as a hero is great! She still isn't perfect but that's a good thing. (Sadly.. mlp ended and we won't see more of her x.x) The Dazzlings - If you're around this channel for some time.. You should probably know that I'm down for Adagio Dazzle. I use her in most of my edits because she's just so fascinating: The way she speaks, moves, smiles and presents herself or control Aria/Sonata. Adagio holded the strings until Sunset showed up and helped to defeat them. Also, the Dazzlings were some sort of a true threat... They wanted to take over the human world to "make everyone adore of them" and probably would have gone to Equestria as well to spread their evil magic. Plus, the Dazzlings didn't change then they finally showed up again. Aria and Sonata still "hated" each other while Adagio still presented her hate against humans. Glad to see that not every villain has to get a redemption. Principal Cinch - Most people forget about her. Sadly. I think she did a good job as a villain. Sure, she wasn't quiet a threat for the world.. but still one for Twilight. Imagine one person can decide over your future/existence and would easily destroy it if you don't do what they want you to do. Also, the way she speaks and holds herself is quiet mentionable..Plus, she has her own background music. Aaaaand...when she knew she was "defeated" she just walked out. And that's about it for her. Midnight Sparkle - Well, I do loved that Twilight got "pushed" to unleash the magic and became the villain named 'Midnight Sparkle'. Even though she was possessed by magic she still wanted knowledge. She didn't care about others: Neither if she hurt someone or destroy the world to get what she wanted. So, I do say she was a kinda good villain. Gloriosa Daisy - Uff... She wasn't a good villain nor a good character. I din't care about her in the movie. I cared more about the Twilight/Midnight Sparkle-Story than to her "I have to save the camp". Because that kind of story was already done soooo many times.. "We have no money, but the camp is special to us, we need to save it so let's work together and everything turns out well!" So, the story was boring and I guess they tried to make her a twist villain but that didn't really worked out. And the sequence where Sunset is reading her mind... just goes on forever. That probably could have been done better.. Wallflower Blush - Oh welll.. this girl. I didn't wanted to put her in the video but I guess I did it anway. Wallflower is just so.. meh. I also didn't really care about her. All of her intentions was "Sunset was mean. I hate her. I wanna see her suffer." That's her reason. It was never really explained why she hated Sunset... I mean.. any other student could still hate her for her past actions but most students accepted her.. I mean.. she saved the school many times already! Remember the first movie where they were talking about "the other girl that tried to stand against Sunset Shimmer in the Spring Fling" ? Maybe pick that up and use that as Wallflower's intention because Sunset made her life miserable. This may would've been interseting... not a girl who's an outsider an just seeks someone to put her anger out. That's why.. Wallflower is my least fav villain. Altough, I do say it was nice to have someone who didn't turn into a magical demon at the end and Wallflower also should regret than Sunset's memories got ereased, so she wasn't just that bad. But her intention was kinda weak. ----------------------------- I always wanted to point that out.. yes, I know it's a cartoon for kids and I also know that this show has ended... but pssst! ---------------------------- *NOTE: Before someone says "BRR!! You forgot Wallflower in the thumbnail" Jup. She complains about the fact that she always is forgotten. That's why. (Actually, it wouldn't fit with her)
