Today's Gospel Reading & Reflection – Wednesday, December 31, 2025
Gospel of the Day 31/12/2025 Today's readings place us before a profound decision at the end of the year 🕯️⏳. Saint John reminds us that we live in times of discernment: truth and falsehood do not mix, and only those who remain in the truth remain in God ✝️✨. We have been anointed by the Holy One and are called to remain steadfast, without letting ourselves be confused by voices that stray from Christ ⚠️. The Gospel takes us to the origin of everything: the eternal Word 💫. Before time, before the world, He already existed. In Him was life, and that life is the light that overcomes all darkness 🌟. Although many did not receive Him, to those who do, He grants an immense gift: to be children of God 👑🤍. As we close this year, we contemplate that God did not remain distant, but became flesh and dwelt among us 🕊️. From His fullness we have received grace upon grace, and in Him we find meaning, forgiveness, and hope to begin a new year with renewed hearts 🙏✨. Action for today: Take a moment of silence and thank the Lord for all you have experienced this year 🕯️. Renew your commitment to remain in the truth and welcome Christ back into your life. Say to Him with faith: “Lord, I want to begin the new year with You” ✝️💙. ---------------------------- Gospel of the Day – Daily reflection on the Word of God to nourish your faith.
