Psalm 145: I will praise Your name forever... (Walther)

#psalmschallenge week 16: 14th Sunday in Ordinary Time, year A. I will praise Your name forever, my king and my God. Set by Ben Walther, from Spirit and Psalm. Just like last week's Psalm, the part of this Psalm that stands out to me is that the Psalmist will praise the Lord forever. All the "praise forever" Psalms have stood out to me for a while, since I've dedicated my life to singing to the Lord. The Psalmist here also invites other faithful people to praise the Lord, which is another major part of cantoring. So this Psalm is another one that easily resonates with me ⛪🎶❤ Another Psalm setting that I get to cantor at church---but this one, I will cantor three times! My music director and I are cantoring all three Masses together this holiday weekend ❤💙
