What linked them was a love for God and a desire to help others. They call chose to make some bold moves because of this. These books encourage those who follow Jesus and want to make a positive difference. Nehemiah: Helping Through Compassion Nehemiah has two rebuilding projects in mind when he returned to Jerusalem. He came to rally the Jewish people to rebuild the fortified walls around Jerusalem. Now that the walls are rebuilt, Nehemiah turns his attention to the second rebuilding project - the people.
