Fourth Sunday Of Lent Year C

Who hasn't been there? I am not talking about the greatest adventures of life. I mean that lowest point in life, where the prodigal son found himself? This is one of the best Bible stories of all time. I can read it over and over again. It is more of a story of the Father than that of his son. God the Father of all mercies, in his generous and prodigal outreach, longs always to reconcile the world to his eternal love. But unfortunately we make wrong choices to be separated from him every now and again. But he waits for that moment when we have the slightest courage to say, "I will leave this place and go back to my father; back to the state of grace where I truly belong." Like the prodigal Father, God is ever ready to run to meet us halfway on our journey back to the lost paradise of grace and favour.
