🍋[Eunoia] MikaYuu - Middle Of The Night MEP Part 7

(🍋 slight NSFW warning, no explicit content but nonetheless, I wouldn't recommend watching this in public, oops. Plus potential OnS Manga spoilers in the description?) I think I'm gonna explode. Holy damn did I let myself get stressed by this... Comatose took me way too long to finish so I already ran late before even starting on this and then my pc has gotten even worse (dw, I've actively started looking into buying a new one but it's gonna take some time) and I was barely able to think about anything else in my free time, totally let it destroy my precious time off work because it made my depression kick in full force for not being able to be productive and beating myself up over wasting time and- it's okay. just breath. Anyway. First MikaYuu edit woohoo!! ^^ can't believe it took me so many years. Recently rewatched the Anime and then caught up with the Manga again as well and have been keeping up with it for a few month now... idk... it's not even all that well written but it's got me good again.. Since I'm usually overthinking scenarios for my parts and want everything to build a coherent plot somehow, here's my ideas for this one: It could be set during the time where the Squad and Crowley are at Ferids mansion while Ferid and Krul are burning at the stakes. You know, when Crowley offers Mika some random childs blood in a wine glass but he doesn't feel comfortable drinking it, so Yuu offers for Mika to drink his blood in private later 👀 that 'later' is where the part would set in, Mika walks into Yuus room (idk why he'd be crying before but it just fit the transition lol), there's a moments hesitation but Yuu offers his neck, Mika is barely able to hold back enough for Yuu to finish getting his collar out of the way, Mika drinks and it escalates from there 🍋 The "I'm getting what is mine" part is obviously meant to be Mika finally having Yuu all to himself while the "You gon' get yours" part is Yuu getting some nice bite marks to show off to the others later (unintentionally, mind you, because Yuu is an absolute disaster) + Mika blushing about it because it's another win for Mika as well and he's way too adorable (we're gonna ignore the fact that this probably isn't even possible anymore in the most recent chapters because Yuu isn't human enough anymore for wounds to stick around for long. thanks for all that unnecessary info about tokyo tower btw Kagami...). and the additional random quote of Mikas love confession before that because I'm salty about Yuu still not having given him a reply yet 😭 chap 119 made me scream "just kiss already" at my screen way too many times... and don't get me started on 120 🙄🙄 Okay, I've been debating whether or not I should say anything about the actual editing or not for over two weeks, so I'm just gonna do it now to save myself the headache. I like where this could have gone but I'm not overly proud of it. Like, I think I've mostly gotten the hang of those ultra smooth zoom and pan transitions at long last and I love thinking about what I'd be able to do with those skills now but.. I'm not too sure about the rest of this Part.. the text is kinda meh, I tried but it's just not there in my opinion but I've always struggled with text so it's at least some improvement I guess. I absolutely hate most of the Manga panels in this though.. the movement is pretty lame but I didn't know what else to do with it tbh.. the only section I really like is of the bite mark and Mika's blushing over that blood background, but even that could have been better.. idk, I kinda hate how all over the place this whole part looks because I couldn't decide on what to stick to.. I'm thinking maybe it's time I stop focusing on parts for a while and finally work on a full length amv again. I always try to fit so much stuff in my parts that just doesn't fit into that short of a timeframe.. but at the same time working on anything longer just seems so daunting... it's been a while since I finished anything longer.. I fear I might have forgotten how to even do amvs... Opening this project file takes about 4-5 minutes these days and jumping just a single frame forward in the timeline takes about 20-30 seconds loading time even on the lowest quality preview, reversing a step took another 30-40 seconds and rendering these 17 seconds took over 38 minutes. it was not fun. I haven't even dared opening Vegas afterwards but seeing all the funky glitches in Genshin sure was... something.. I've since opted to only play on my phone or my mothers laptop (at potato quality tho) because controls without keyboard are hard omg
