Sermon Title: "Crown Him or Kill Him Based on: Selected verses from Mark By Pastor Kurt Ebert Throughout the Gospel of Mark Jesus has a secret. At many times in which Jesus reveals His full identity and His full mission in life, he immediately follows up this revelation with a call for secrecy. But as Jesus turns to Jerusalem in Mark 10-11 plans change. Jesus intentionally and purposefully begins to reveal the true extent of His power, person, and authority. The secret is now out in the open in no uncertain terms. The leaders and people of Jerusalem are faced with a challenge. Will they accept Him as He claims to be—the so-called promised king—or will they deny Him and His authority for their lives and their world? This Palm Sunday we are challenged to do the same.
