Lake of Glass, Rocky Mountain National Park Next up on the Glacier Gorge Trail is Lake of Glass which you hit at the 4 mile mark. It did not live up to its name this day. A bit too windy, which felt really good. The Peaks looked awesome that day. Both 13k. Powell Peak on the left & Taylor Peak on the right. Sky Pond is next up, less than a mile. It’s bigger than Lake of Glass. Why is it called a Pond when it’s bigger? 🤔 Thoughts I have while hiking.
