October 29th, 2023: Sunday Morning Worship

Welcome to First Baptist Church of Crown Heights' Sunday Morning Worship for October 29th, 2023. Embark on a spiritual journey with us, starting with the heartfelt Introit, No. 114: "Welcome Into This Place." Rev. Dr. Christine Caton will lead the congregation in the Call to Worship, setting the tone for a transformative worship experience for all in attendance and those joining us remotely. A pivotal moment in today's service is our Baptism Litany, orchestrated by Walking Deacon Denise Taylor. This is followed by the profound Baptism Prayer from Deacon Marcuse Johnson. As souls are rejuvenated through the holy sacrament of baptism, the atmosphere will be set by the profound "Let's Go Down by the River." Our very own Higher Praise choir lifts their voices in renditions of "We Sing the Praise" and "My Response," enveloping us in melodies of adoration and commitment. Minister Suzette Spann Scarborough then beckons us closer to the throne of grace with the Congregational Prayer. The artistry of God's Angels, our Dance Ministry, is sure to touch your heart, while Sis. Alecia Mason, our Church Clerk, keeps us informed with timely announcements. As the worship continues, Rev. Moore graces us with the Pastoral Emphasis. The Higher Praise choir delivers a powerful version of "Big" originally by Full Gospel Baptist Church as the Offertory Selection. The Scripture Reading from Deuteronomy 34:1-12 serves as the bedrock for the day's revelation. Engage with the moving tones of "Precious Jesus" rendered by Higher Praise, priming our spirits for the sermon from Rev. Moore. Concluding our spiritual journey, the Benediction, "Till We Meet Again" by Kirk Franklin, is gracefully bestowed upon us by Rev. Moore. Don't forget to subscribe and share this blessed service with friends and family, praying that it enriches your week with faith and fortitude.
