Thank you for everything.
I enjoyed traveling over the past few months, but I’ve had quite a reality check regarding the very act of doing YouTube. There are people who stake everything on YouTube, and I think I was too reckless and arrogant in some ways. Whether it’s providing information, teaching history, or entertaining... To be honest, I don’t fit any of those categories. I feel I lack the creative qualities of a travel YouTuber. I apologize. I am a truly flawed person, and my videos are lacking in many ways... I was sincerely so grateful for your interest. Thanks to all of you, I even received advertising deals and spent days that felt like a dream. To those who said they gained hope for life by watching me, or found a place to turn to, I couldn't ask for more, I was incredibly grateful. However, my mental state lately is such that I feel like I’m going to go insane, so I think I need to stop YouTube. I never once regretted traveling or doing YouTube; it was fun, and I was so happy with the precious connections and memories I made... I was genuinely happy every single day... But recently, for the first time since I started traveling, I actually felt regret... I wanted to do better so I could travel with my family, travel with my subscribers, and do so many other things I wanted to do... but I think it was my lack of ability and small capacity. I am sorry... I plan to regroup and leave soon for a country I have never been to before. I don't have any thoughts about filming or any desire to do anything right now, but since my love for traveling remains the same, I intend to leave. If I do happen to return, I will come back stronger so that I won't upload a final apology video like this. Even if I don't return, I am truly, truly grateful once again. To my beloved subscribers, thank you for appearing in my life. Sincerely, Traveling Mr. Kim
